Early life and military service
Shlomit Malka was born in Rehovot, Israel, to a Jewish family with roots in Morocco and Ukraine. Her parents separated during her childhood, and she grew up with her mother and grandparents in Kiryat Ekron. Alongside her native Hebrew, she learned to speak English and Russian.
During her mandatory military service in the Israel Defense Forces, she served as an instructor in the Combat Engineering Corps special forces unit Yahalom. While serving as a soldier, she was discovered through Facebook pictures and received special permission from the military to pursue modeling work.

In May 2017, she married Israeli actor and model Yehuda Levi, and the couple resided together in Tel Aviv. The pair later announced their separation in June 2021. In August 2017, she survived a severe scooter accident in Tel Aviv that required hospitalization and a medically induced coma before making a full recovery.
