Who is Stuart Edge?
Early life and education
Stuart Edge was born Stuart Edgington on March 27, 1989, in Utah, United States. He attended Mountain Crest High School during his youth and later pursued higher education at Utah Valley University, where he earned an associate degree.
When he was fourteen years old, his parents divorced, and he moved to Mexico alongside his mother and brothers. As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he later served a full-time mission in Veracruz, Mexico, from 2008 to 2010. During this time, he learned to speak Spanish fluently.
YouTube career and projects
Stuart began creating viral internet videos that gained widespread attention online. In October 2013, he released a video titled Using Siri To Get A Date, followed by a sequel titled Using Siri To Get Married in September 2015. He also collaborated with partner Weixin Le to release a dance video featuring music by Justin Bieber.
Beyond comedy and prank content, Stuart participated in charitable campaigns. He teamed up with local businesses and his family to provide a Christmas celebration for a family in need. He also worked with the Make-A-Wish Foundation to help a young boy named Beckham film a prank.
Television and writing
Stuart expanded his career into television production and mainstream media appearances. He has been featured as a performer on television programs such as Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and EXTRA with Mario Lopez and Maria Menounos.
In addition to his video production work, Stuart acted in the film Little Women, playing the character John Brooke in 2018. He also authored a book about his early career experiences titled On the Edge: How My Crappy Job Changed My Life.
