Early life and education
Tiffany Thornton Dawn Thornton was born on February 14, 1986, in College Station, United States. She grew up as an American citizen and attended local schools in Texas.
For her education, she went to A&M Consolidated High School before enrolling at Texas A&M University. While studying at the university, she performed the national anthem at various sporting events.
Acting career highlights
Tiffany began her television acting career with an appearance in the pilot episode of the Fox sitcom Quintuplets. Following this debut, she made guest appearances on numerous television programs, including 8 Simple Rules, American Dreams, The O.C., Desperate Housewives, That's So Raven, Jericho, Wizards of Waverly Place, and Hannah Montana.
In 2009, she achieved broader recognition by co-starring as Tawni Hart on the Disney Channel series Sonny with a Chance. She also appeared in the Disney Channel Original Movie Hatching Pete. When the main series was rebranded as So Random! In 2011, she continued to play Tawni Hart until the show ended in 2012.
Radio and other work
Beyond television acting, Tiffany expanded her career into radio broadcasting. Between 2015 and 2016, she worked as a radio personality for KLAZ 105.9 located in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
During her time at the station, she co-hosted the morning program titled Kramer and Tiffany and also hosted her own mid-day show. Also, she wrote content as a blogger for DisneyBaby.com and worked as a recruitment advisor for Champion Christian College starting in mid-2016.
Personal life and marriages
Tiffany became engaged to probation officer and musician Christopher Carney in December 2009. The couple held their wedding on November 12, 2011, at Garvan Woodland Gardens in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Together they had two sons, born in August 2012 and March 2014. Christopher Carney tragically passed away in a car accident on December 4, 2015.
In January 2017, Tiffany started a relationship with worship pastor Josiah Capaci. They announced their engagement in April 2017 and married on October 7 of that same year. The couple later welcomed two daughters, born in November 2018 and July 2021.
