Who is Ashley Benson?
Early life and background
Ashley Benson was born on December 18, 1989, in Anaheim, United States. Her parents are Shannon and Jeff Benson, and she grew up with an older sister named Shaylene. During her early years, she trained at the Orange County School of the Arts.
She started dancing competitively at age three, focusing on ballet, jazz, tap, and hip hop. By age four, she was singing solos at her church. At the age of eight, she signed with Ford Models and appeared in multiple print advertisements before moving into acting.
Acting career and breakthrough
Ashley began her television career playing Abigail Deveraux on the daytime soap opera Days of Our Lives from 2004 to 2007. She made her feature film debut with a small part in the 2004 comedy 13 Going on 30 and later starred as Carson in Bring It On: In It to Win It.
In December 2009, Ashley secured her breakthrough role as Hanna Marin in the ABC Family mystery thriller series Pretty Little Liars. Her performance received praise from critics and earned her a dedicated following. She appeared in the series throughout its entire run until 2017.
Alongside her signature television role, Ashley has appeared in numerous feature films. Her film credits include the crime comedy Spring Breakers, the psychological horror film Ratter, the comedy drama Chronically Metropolitan, and the musical drama Her Smell.
Music ventures
In addition to acting, Ashley has explored music throughout her career. She performed vocals for the soundtrack of the film Her Smell in 2018. She also collaborated with G-Eazy on his cover version of the Radiohead song Creep in 2020.

Ashley was in a relationship with English model Cara Delevingne from 2018 to 2020. She subsequently dated rapper G-Eazy from 2020 to 2021. In January 2023, she began a relationship with Brandon Davis, the grandson of billionaire Marvin Davis.
The couple became engaged in July 2023 and got married in November of that same year. In February 2024, they welcomed their first child, a daughter. Ashley currently resides in Los Angeles, California.
