Early life and education
Natalia Dyer was born in Nashville, Tennessee, on January 13, 1995. She grew up in a household with two sisters and an older brother. Natalia began performing in community theater while still a child.
She attended the Nashville School of the Arts before relocating to New York City. She later pursued studies at New York University through the Gallatin School of Individualized Study.
Starting an acting career
Her professional work started during her early teenage years. She took part in local projects produced in and around her hometown. Her first screen credit was playing Clarissa Granger in the 2009 Hannah Montana: The Movie.
She also took small parts in The Greening of Whitney Brown and Blue Like Jazz. At age 16, she secured her first major role starring in the independent film I Believe in Unicorns. This project later premiered at the 2014 SXSW Film Festival. She also acted in independent movies such as Don't Let Me Go and After Darkness. These projects were released in the years following her early teenage work.
